International Experience
International Work
Between 2017 and 2019 Rukhsana had the opportunity to work in Doha, Qatar where she utilised her transferrable skills and knowledge of Diversity and Cultures to design, implement and manage a specialist Employment Program for people with disabilities. The employment and training project was the first of its kind in the state of Qatar and was a huge success. Participants successfully graduated from the scheme and embraced their opportunity to learn and develop as individuals by using assistive technology. It empowered them to embrace new employment opportunities and gain personal development skills.
Working internationally for Rukhsana was a great experience and enabled her to stretch her existing skills and develop new opportunities to work with a range of organisations. Working in Qatar gave Rukhsana the drive to promote positive working relationships globally and share experiences with like-minded professionals from around the world. This was an exceptional experience for Rukhsana and she was fully supported by her colleagues and senior managers to help and deliver the employment program successfully. It gained national recognition from the Ministries and the Qatar Prime Minister.
The professional links made in Qatar provided Rukhsana with a platform to learn more about the key issues in the workplace, understand cultures and develop further staff training programs in UAE and internationally. Rukhsana found her Middle East work experience extremely enjoyable, enlightening, thought provoking and interesting. She made life-long friendships in Qatar working with multiple agencies and government bodies. She has a proven track record to make a real difference transforming cultures and empowering staff and teams to be the best they can be.

Qatar Work Experience
I lead a UK training company’s Middle East office and I first met Rukhsana in her role as training manager for a Qatar company. I was immediately impressed by her ability to build relationship across a wide spectrum of people from different nationalities and ‘savvy’ approach in delivering training. Rukhsana also proved to be very able to build confidence, trust and engagement with a Middle Eastern audience. We have since worked together to investigate the potential for Rukhsana to design elements of our training programmes and are looking forward to progressing this in the future.

Qatar Testimonial
I have attended many training courses led by Rukhsana in Qatar and found them to be useful and well run. The courses were mainly focused on internal and external relationship building, cross cultural soft skills and personal development in a professional context. I always looked forward to Rukhsana courses as I knew they would be well prepared, insightful and would challenge me to explore new areas of professional development. Rukhsana is a highly capable trainer who is able to read the room and adjust her style accordingly, her presentation/course content is ‘on point’ and addresses the needs of the audience. I have been particularly impressed by her extensive training experience and how she applied this experience to deal with the challenges faced when presenting. I would attend her courses and would engage her as a trainer if the opportunity arose.
